The suggestions board

The suggestions board gathers every bank movement that Aikount could not reconcile automatically. These are matches with confidence below 0.95: Aikount has one or more candidates but would rather you decide before linking. Here you review, adjust and confirm in one click.

What you find on the board#

Each row on the board is a pending movement together with the document (or documents) Aikount proposes as its origin:

• The movement: amount, date and description exactly as they arrive from the bank.
• The proposed candidate: the sales invoice, purchase or expense that fits best.
• The reason for the link is implicit in the match on amount, date and counterparty.

When there are several possible candidates, they're shown so you can pick the right one instead of accepting the first.

The flow: review, adjust, confirm#

1. Review the suggestion. Check that the candidate really is the document that caused that movement.
2. Adjust if needed: swap the proposed document for another when the candidate isn't the right one.
3. Confirm in one click. The movement is reconciled and leaves the board.

Working the board is the fastest way to keep your books up to date: you approve the obvious ones in bulk and only stop on the doubtful ones.

Only confirm what you recognise. If a suggestion doesn't add up, don't force it: leave it pending or resolve it from Reconcile manually.

What to do when there's no correct candidate#

Sometimes no candidate fits because the document doesn't exist in Aikount yet (for example, you haven't uploaded the purchase invoice). In that case:

• Upload or create the missing document first —from Purchases or Sales— and come back to the board.
• Or link the movement by hand if the document already exists but wasn't among the candidates.

How it relates to the rest#

• The board only shows what fell below the threshold; anything above 0.95 was already reconciled without passing through here. See How reconciliation works.
• The movements that feed the board come from your bank movements.
• For anything that doesn't even produce a suggestion, use Reconcile manually.
